Rachel and Greg are Richmond locals who care deeply about hospitality, thoughtful design, and creating spaces that help people feel genuinely at home. The Birdhouse was built as a labor of love — inspired by cozy cottage living, meaningful craftsmanship, and the idea that travel accommodations should feel warm, personal, and restorative rather than generic.

Together, they designed and curated the space with intention, blending vintage finds, reclaimed materials, local touches, and comfortable amenities to create a peaceful place for guests to land while exploring Richmond or traveling for work, medical stays, or extended visits.
